My journey
Whether you’re navigating your pregnancy journey, preparing for birth, seeking postpartum guidance, or needing specialised infant care, I will be there to walk alongside you every step of the way, to support you and your family to have the best start possible to your new life with your baby.
Mother’s journey is born out of a new and exciting vision, one which works as part of a wider community of pregnancy, birth and postpartum professionals.
It is a vision and evolution of maternity care service created following the end of Your Neighbourhood Midwives.
I am grateful to those who have supported and shaped me, and have championed this evolution.
Mother’s journey has grown from a passion for caring for each woman and family at a personal and individual level which is reflected in the name and ethos of this unique and special business showing how each pregnancy, birth, transition of family life and each feeding experience is a journey which flows from one aspect of motherhood into the next.
I am a sole practitioner who is supported by a network of likeminded midwives and health care professionals and I provide evidence-based gold standard care to my clients throughout South London and sometimes beyond.
I have indemnity insurance in place to cover you and your family.
What does independent / private midwifery care look like?
As your primary midwife, I will be there to look after you throughout your pregnancy and attend you in labour and birth. Throughout the antenatal period, I will provide care for you in the relaxing environment of your own home.
I am there for you as an individual and not as a number in the system – I have plenty of time to spend with you exploring any questions, concerns or general conversations you may wish to have.
